Once the units are repaired you will not require to code the unit, unless stated otherwise for the specific unit but in more then 95% of cases it will not require coding.

 

You will require a professional diagnostics machine to clear the DTC once the unit is repaired to erase the fault code.

Rebuild details (“Get Yours Rebuilt”): Professional level diagnostic equipment and/or specialist knowledge may be required when reinstalling, clearing of fault codes and professional diagnostic checks should be carried out following installation. In order to get your unit rebuilt you will need to remove the faulty unit from the vehicle and send it to us, we would then test the unit and if it is faulty we would rebuild it then return it to you with a Lifetime* warranty.

Return Shipping: You will need to arrange your own shipping to get the unit sent to us, we recommend using Royal Mail “Special Delivery” (inside UK) or UPS / FEDEX (outside UK). Quoted shipping is for the return shipping via Royal Mail Special Delivery or UPS Express, shipping costs will vary depending on your country and will be confirmed before payment completes. BMW 335I & 535I ECU repair

These ECU have a common issue and the vehicle will misfire and send up loads of random codes due to the fault inside the ECU.

Different diagnostics trouble code which you may experience:

29D0 – Combustion Misfires Cylinder 4 

30BB DME: Injectors 4,5,6 or DME Internal Fault

30A5 – Ignition Coil Cylinder 6 Activation

 29D2 – Combustion Misfires Cylinder 6 

29CC – Combustion Misfires Several Cylinders 

29D1 – Combustion Misfires Cylinder 5 

29D0 – Combustion Misfires Cylinder 4 

Please make sure the vehicle is diagnosed properly by an approved garage, if the issue has been diagnosed as an ECU fault we will be able to fix the ECU and vehicle will work as normal once the ECU’s work as been carried out no coding will be needed. Please note in some cases due to the ECU sending the wrong codes it can cause damage to the injectors itself, please check to your mechanics garage for more advise.
